Elevator automation

A CoDeSys control system for two variants of a 4-floor elevator: a single one with a door, call memory and emergency evacuation, and a double one that splits floor calls between both cabins.
The single variant supports on-the-fly stops (it stops at a requested floor if that floor is still ahead on its current path), direction preservation when there are multiple pending destinations, a distinction between cabin and external button presses, and an emergency mode that clears the destination memory and sends the cabin down to the ground floor, where it stays with its doors open until reset.
The double variant reuses most of that logic but adds load balancing between the two elevators: when both are available (or neither is), a floor requested from an external button is assigned in turns.
The control logic is structured as functional blocks in Grafcet for the main state machine, with ST/LD actions for auxiliary tasks (floor decoding, lights, button-panel handling).
